We have two new volunteer opportunites for students with the Kingston Youth Baseball/Softball Concession Stand and the Experimental Aircraft Association Old Colony Chapter 279. See below for more information for both organizations.

The Experimental Aircraft Association Old Colony Chapter 279, is a non-profit organization located in Hanson. They are in need of volunteers to help with their monthly fly-in breakfasts this 2024 season. This is a monthly event at the airport for the community with 200-400 people in attendance. They both sponsor and promote all aviation related activities, including scholarships for education and community service projects aimed at kids. They are looking for volunteers to help with the following:
- Setting up tables
- Cooking breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage)
- Serving food.
- Taking the trash out.
- Filling up containers with juice and coffee.
- Sweeping floors before and after the event.
- Passing out fliers
The dates are:
- 5/19 - 7:30am-12:00pm
- 6/16 - (fathers day) 7:30am -12:00pm
- 7/21 - 7:30am -12:00pm
- 8/18 - 7:30am-12:00pm
- 9/15 - 7:30am-12:00pm
- 10/20 - 7:30am -12:00pm
