Family Literacy Month Celebration at SLRHS
November is Family Literacy Month and Silver Lake Regional High School is celebrating before the Silver Lake football game on Friday, November 6, 2009. Families of preschoolers and elementary school children are invited to come to the library at Silver Lake Regional High School for seasonal stories, face painting, and activities that will be facilitated by Silver Lake students. The Silver Lake Cheerleaders will be stopping by to do a cheer and Long John Silver Lake, the school’s mascot, will be showing his dance moves. The fun starts at 6:00pm in the high school library and families then can have complimentary admission to the football game at 7:00.
The event is free and open to families of the Silver Lake Regional School District. Please contact Linda Redding at 781-585-3844 extension 2418 or at lredding@slrsd.org if you need more information
