Who are we? |
| The Silver Lake Math Team welcomes all students who share a passion for math. |
| How much of a time commitment is required? |
There are 4 meets per year. They generally take place on the 1st Thursday in the months of Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb. Top teams have a playoff match in March.
It is not mandatory that you make every meet.
We compete at local schools such as Plymouth North, Plymouth South, Middleboro, and Marshfield. Once a year we usually host a meet at Silver Lake.
Meetings will take place a few times per month so that we can discuss the topics to be covered during the upcoming meet. Practice problems and solutions will be distributed so you can get used to the types of questions that are typically asked. See the posted schedule of practice meetings. (or see Mrs. White)
