Students visit the library weekly in all grades. Students visit computer lab biweekly in grades K-2 and weekly in grades 3-6. They are encouraged to select books or magazines for school projects and recreational reading.
Parents and guardians can help by making sure students bring their library books to school on their scheduled library day. As long as they do not have any unreturned books, students may take out up to the following number of books or magazines:
- Students in Kindergarten and Grade 1: one book or magazine
- Students in Grade 2: two books and/or magazines (one fiction and one non-fiction)
- Students in Grades 3-6: three books and/or magazines (one fiction chapter book, one non-fiction and one choice)
In Computer Lab, students develop a familiarity with computer operations as well as Internet Safety. Formal keyboarding instruction begins in Grade 3.
